All that 's missing in this one are the two slices of bread. Crumbly bacon, chopped tomato, shredded lettuce and a very yummy and creamy dressing with a hint of garlic- this chopped salad has BLT down pat.

Blue Cheese and Dried Cranberry Tossed Salad

This salad is a tried and true crowd pleaser. A basic romaine salad is dressed up with toasted pecans, cranberries, and crumbled blue cheese and tossed with balsamic vinaigrette to serve. Make this an easy meal by adding grilled chicken and serving with a crusty baguette.

The hardest thing about making a Caesar salad is getting the dressing right. This does, coddled egg and all.

This dressing is not your classic one, but it is a fabulous version. Lots of garlic, a dab of mustard, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce are blended in a mixer with crumbled croutons. Nice and crunchy when the romaine is tossed and the Parmesan sprinkled on.

The garlic croutons that top this classic salad are wonderful, as is the anchovy-infused, very creamy dressing.
