Excellent coleslaw. I've tried several recipes over the years, but this is the very best so far. I used Kraft mayo and white wine vinegar. I did add a 1/4 tsp. onion powder and some freshly ground black pepper as well. I cut this down to serve 5, used a 16 oz bag of shredded coleslaw mix, and it worked out great. Delicious! Thanks Martha for sharing this.

I used store bought coleslaw mix to save time. This dressing is great. I continue to make it and will never use another recipe for coleslaw.

I really enjoyed this. I made as written but I only had cider vinegar so thats what I used. And I used the coleslaw mix bag from the grocery store. I scaled the recipe down for 4 people and it was perfect. Not too saucy. It definitely needs to chill in the fridge for a few hours.

Yep...THIS is my sister's EXACT recipe that I have been looking for forever! Ask her for it, you say? She said we'd get a copy when "her time comes"...lol. Well, I couldn't wait THAT long. Made it for July 4th (cutting the servings to 10 and using bagged slaw) which got rave reviews...some even thinking it was Sis's. Thanks for sharing such a delish dish!

I made this with red and green cabbage. It looked colorful and nice. It was a little too sweet for our taste. I'll try it again with less sugar next time

Super, super easy and excellent flavor. The coleslaw dressing I've been looking for. I won't make another gloppy cooked dressing ever again.

I cut the recipe in half and used a 16oz bag of the prepared coleslaw mix. I have never liked coleslaw before I tried this. The different flavors are amazing! My bf said this is a recipe for people who don't like coleslaw. You can't help but like it! Like I said I cut the recipe in half, but I cut the sugar in half again. I thought it was still slightly too sweet.

I cut down the quantity so I might have changed it just a bit, but it really was good. So easy and tastey.

I also reduced the recipe, but made it for the second time last night and forgot to reduce, so there's far too much sugar in the recipe for my tastes. I let it sit overnight, so we'll see at dinner tonight :)

This is indeed a classic coleslaw. I've been looking for a perfect slaw recipe for years, and though I always found one I liked, I never found one I loved and want to make often. I made this at Christmas and even my brother who is no big fan of slaw was eating it up. I've made it with the bagged slaw, but it just doesn't compare to a fresh head of cabbage chopped up fine in the Cuisinart. Thank you for posting this keeper!

This is EXACTLY the coleslaw recipe I was hunting for! Light, tasty, and easy. We've only had it once, but it is already on the list of our family's favorite recipes.
