Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed on Jan. 25, 2008 by Krookie Monster
This is a very solid recipe but a little sweet for my taste. I adjusted it to take a slightly more healthy approach but not sacrifice the cookie taste; 1C WW flour, 1C AP flour, 3/4C butter, and only 1C brown sugar (instead of 1 1/2C combine) As for cooking these cookies I refrigerated the dough for 15 min to firm it up a bit, the dough at that point was easy to scoop and didn't spread much so you can feel free to fill the pan without worry and form them as you like. Also, peanut butter chips, white chocolate, any style of nuts, and cherry chips go great with this recipe.

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed on Dec. 16, 2007 by Elizabeth H.
My father-in-law loves Honey Buns so when I came across this recipe I had to make it for him. It was a huge hit! I made a small change though, I exchanged the sour cream for 1 cup of vanilla pudding to cut back on the fat. It came out so wonderfully moist. The recipe is so easy and the results are awesome. I highly recommend it.

Stove Top Tamale Pie

Reviewed on Aug. 13, 2006 by Pzzlvr123
My family really likes this. I usually use a combination of beef and sausage, sometimes only 1/2 lb.total. Instead of the tomato sauce, I use a 15-oz can of tomatoes. I add a little extra onion and garlic (the taco mix contains some); I add some ground pepper to taste.I also add some canned or bottled jalepeno slices-cut up. I've never had the gr. onion on hand-and it still turns out great! I have been out of kidney beans and used pork 'n beans before-still great.
