Sauerkraut Salad

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 (20 ounce) can sauerkraut
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 ounces pimento

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a saucepan combine the salt, vinegar, caraway seeds and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in the sauerkraut, onion, celery, pepper and pimento. Remove from heat and let marinate overnight before serving.
